Overview

Producer Trainees learn how to prospect, advise, and service clients in personal or commercial insurance. This role combines sales training, product education, and hands‑on experience with client interactions. Trainees develop the skills needed to build a book of business and transition into a full Producer/Agent role.

Core Responsibilities

• Learn insurance products, coverages, and carrier appetites
• Support prospecting activities, lead generation, and outreach
• Assist with quoting, applications, and coverage comparisons
• Participate in client meetings, renewals, and service activities
• Build foundational sales, communication, and relationship‑building skills
• Complete licensing requirements and carrier training programs
