🧭 Overview

Plant Managers are operational leaders responsible for the strategic and day-to-day management of manufacturing facilities. They oversee production, safety, quality control, staffing, and budgeting to ensure efficient and profitable operations. Their role bridges technical oversight with people management, driving continuous improvement and aligning plant performance with corporate goals.

• Direct all plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics
• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to meet KPIs
• Monitor safety compliance and lead incident prevention initiatives
• Manage plant budgets, labor costs, and capital expenditures
• Coordinate with supply chain, engineering, and corporate leadership
• Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
• Recruit, train, and evaluate plant personnel
• Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, and industry standards
• Oversee equipment maintenance and facility upgrades

 

🎓 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
• Certifications: CMfgE, PMP, Six Sigma, Lean Bronze
• 5–10 years of experience in plant or production management
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
• Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing analytic
