- Develop and enforce safety policies aligned with OSHA, EPA, and company standards
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments

- Investigate incidents and near-misses, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Lead safety training programs for employees, contractors, and supervisors
- Maintain safety documentation, including OSHA logs, inspection reports, and compliance records
- Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure readiness of safety equipment
- Advise management on regulatory changes and emerging safety technologies
- Monitor PPE usage and inventory across departments
- Foster a proactive safety culture through communication, coaching, and accountability
🎓 Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, industrial engineering, or related field
- Certifications: CSP, OHST, CHST, OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR
- 5+ years of experience in industrial safety or plant operations
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work in dynamic, high-risk environments and manage cross-functional teams
