A General Liability Examiner handles claims involving bodily injury, property damage, and other losses arising from an insured’s alleged negligence. These adjusters work across commercial and personal lines, evaluating liability exposure, assessing damages, and negotiating settlements with claimants and attorneys.
Core Responsibilities
- Investigate incidents such as slip‑and‑falls, premises liability, and product liability claims
- Analyze negligence, causation, and comparative fault
- Review medical records, repair estimates, and expert reports
- Coordinate with defense counsel and external experts

- Identify subrogation or recovery opportunities
